Kudos for 7C

Below is an email sent to President Greenberg from a 7C family!  The family had a wonderful experience and wanted to say thanks!  So proud of all of you for making 7C a great place to work and to receive care!

Dear President Greenberg,

I will like to make it known of the great service that was given to my grandson during his stay at MUSC ICU Children Ward

One May 12, 2012 my grandson was born, he was born at another hospital . It was 2 days later he was not acting right so we decided that it was time to take him to the emergency room, that was the best decision ever. He was admitted to the children ICU ward ,he was dehydrated among other  things. 

For a baby only a couple of days old that was just so scary, to  see him with all of those tubes connected to him. The kindness of the ICU staff was just amazing.

The staff  made my grand stay very comfortable, my daughter stayed every night and day. The staff  saw where she was very tired and that when the nurses would take over and change the baby and feed him every 3 hours so that she can get some sleep. We were so blessed to have good people on that floor. 

He was 5lbs at birth then went down to 4lbs . The staff have the love for they job.

The reason that that i am sending this letter so that it can be known that there are still people in this world who love there job. The staff on the 7th Floor of the Children ICU WARD were the best. I will like to thanks the following people that i could remember that took care of little Malik Smith and Ms. Shamecca Pinder[mother] sorry that it took so long to send this letter.
