Two McKesson Issues:
1)It has been brought to our attention that some RNs are confirming Respiratory orders. Please be VERY careful not to confirm these orders, because once you do, it does not appear new/highlighted to the RT's. Some medications and treatments are being missed. I remember not being able to confirm RT orders, so maybe this has changed, or only certain orders fall into this category. I will get in touch with a red coat to see if we can work it out from our end. In the meantime, please be careful not to confirm any Respiratory orders.
2)On the admission assessment, it asks about vaccinations and if they haven't been given it prompts you to screen the patient, order the vaccines if appropriate and administer them. Please do not check DONE if you have not ordered/administered the vaccine.
