I have some info on the Carrafoam Perineal cleanser that I would like for you to share with your staff.
Carrafoam (HEMM# 2431) was discontinued by the manufacturer, and a trial/evaluation was conducted to determine the replacement product. The replacement will be another Medline product which is similar to Carrafoam, except the can label denotes “Soothe and Cool” foam cleanser.
The replacement product will be available in about a week. In the meantime, it’s recommended to use the Cardinal baby-wipes (HEMM# 878). These are packaged 40 wipes per pack at $1.
