Two friendly reminders- 1)When your patient is on Droplet and Contact precautions, McKesson only allows you to choose one or the other, so please select "Droplet" then add a sticky note to include Contact.
2)When you remove an IV (central or peripheral) please be sure to document the removal under the IV Access section of your flowsheet. "D/C'd by RN" can be found under interventions. Same goes for ETTs, foleys, etc. Please document the removal under the appropriate assessment heading, rather than just making a misc note. Any questions, let me know. Thanks.
