Hey everyone,
I have noticed some trends on the last couple weeks of chart audits. Please remember to verify the admission assessment is complete each shift. I know this seems redundant, but we have missed a few assessments because the patient was transferred close to the time of admission. If parents are not available to complete the assessment, chart appropriately and pass it on to the next shift. We have 24 hours to complete the admission assessment.
Also, I wanted to recognize what a great job everyone has been doing on the pain reassessment scores. All of the charts I have audited have been perfect, or very close to it! Thank you for your hard work.
