Improving RN-RT Communication

PICU and 7C Staff,

Please help our pediatric respiratory therapy department in their efforts to improve efficiency.  Specifically, we need to ensure that the charge RN notifies the unit RT of potential transfers out.  Also the bedside RN should ensure the RT is aware at the specific time of transfer.  This will enable to RT to call report to the covering RT on the floors so that we can provide seemless care in a timely manner.
