Please remember, if you do not feel that your line is secure enough with the stat-lock, notify an MD IMMEDIATELY to apply sutures. The CDC recommends the use of stat-locks because they decrease infection risk and can withstand pulling/resistance. No one wants lines to come out. As always, your feedback is encouraged, so please speak up if you think the stat-lock is not appropriate for your patient.
