There has been some confusion about administering meds (clindamycin in particular) from a glass bottle. DO NOT draw the med up in a syringe. Spike the bottle with secondary IV piggyback tubing, just as you would a bag. Once spiked, squeeze the drip chamber to fill, then open the vent to allow the med to infuse.
