Meds NOT GIVEN:
powerpoint presentation- When you have a PRN drug ordered for specific parameters, like Hydralazine for SBP>130, and your pt meets that requirement but you decide not to give the med (bc they are in pain so you give pain meds, or whatever), you must document Hydralazine NOT GIVEN and your reason why.  If it is a PRN med, this WILL NOT prevent you from administering it later.
