We will have staff meetings next week on both of the units to review information from the ADM (Administrators, Directors, and Managers) Meeting this week (formerly the All Leader Meeting with Dr. Cawley). We will also review each unit's employee engagement and culture of safety scores. Please try to participate as everyone's input is necessary for making our action plans for improvement.
PICU Staff Meetings: Monday and Wednesday at 0730
7C Staff Meetings: Tuesday and Thursday at 0730
These meetings will be a bit lengthy so let's try to get started on time and move through as quickly as possible. On Friday, I will post all of the information on the blog so those of you who cannot attend can read the info. I am always happy to entertain any follow up questions in person, via phone or email.
It has been a crazy week for both units. Thanks to all of you for holding it together and providing excellent care to our patients and families! A really big thanks to 7C for floating up so much to help the PICU. Also, a big thanks to Erin O'Donnell for staffing three night shifts and to Karen Loury, Julieanne Walsh, Mary Carla London, Natalie Ball, Angi Kemp, and Alicia "5 days in a row" Piede for pulling OT. You guys ROCK! I'm working diligently to get some new staff on board and PICU has a traveler starting July 29th.
