A few of us were talking last week about Nurse of the Year, and we came up with an interesting incentive... Should Nurse of the Year get a free float pass for the entire fiscal year? Some solid points were made:
1) It would encourage everyone to strive for Nurse of the Year
2) It only takes ONE person out of the float rotation: If skipping NOY means it is YOUR turn to float- you would be floating in the near future anyway so is it a huge deal?
3) It does not require any funding

What about nurse of the quarter???? Should they too be recognized, as they too were recognized by their peers?
