National
Nurses Week is celebrated each year May 6th-12th. In
appreciation for all you do, this year the Children’s Hospital leadership is
hosting a special CH Nurses Week Opening Ceremony on May 5th from
12:30pm to 1:30pm in the Child Life Atrium. All are welcome to attend and
refreshments will be available.
During
the Children’s Hospital Nurses Week Ceremony, seven new awards will be
presented to pediatric nurses. The awards are for a Nurse of the Year in
Expertise, Innovation, Accountability, Advocacy, Integrity, Collaboration, and
Leadership. The seven winners and top nominees will receive an individual
invitation to attend. Your nurse manager will be sending out award criteria and
instructions for nominations next week.
